2nd commitment: Upgrade Bomb Shelters in Israel

  • Over the past few years, the areas surrounding the Gaza strip have been under persistent attack from the Hamas terrorists. However, it was the 2nd Lebanese War in July 2006, that exposed the harsh realities of Israel’s public bomb shelters and their current state of disrepair.
  • Israel’s citizens can face an attack, anytime and anywhere
  • 4,500 public bomb Shelters in the North and around Gaza strip were found  not appropriate even for short-term stays during periods of crisis
  • The government of Israel can renovate only two-thirds of these shelters
  • United Israel Appeal - Young Leadership and Young UIA division will help with this important and Urgent cause.

If you are concerned about Israel’s welfare, this is your opportunity to give your pledge towards securing Israel’s future and ensuring the safety of Jewish lives.

The Cost to upgrade each Bomb shelter is – US $15,000.
