From the total donations raised by Young Leadership Division in 2007, a portion was used to renovate the Trumpeldor Integrated Pre-School in Kiryat Shemona.

The Trumpeldor Integrated Pre-school in Kiryat Shemona serves 56 children. Many of the children come from economically disadvantaged families and new immigrants. The pre-school includes three classes: 2 regular and 1 therapeutic for special needs youngsters, such as children who suffer from Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, delayed development and other problems. In the belief that Pre-school is a critical development period in a child’s life, the therapeutic class provides comprehensive overall intervention to give the special needs child tools to help him cope with the limitations and enable him to achieve his maximum potential.
