UIA Project: MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE!

Celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut & send a message to Israel - In a bottle!
Send messages of love/hope/optimism to Israel in personally decorated recycled bottles.
UIA held a workshop at the Yom Ha'atzmaut celebration at Randwick Racecourse 4th May. The result was approx 100 fabulously decorated bottles by many of the community including children and adults.
Some prominent local Jewish artists also decorated bottles. Joan Rabinowtiz, in particular, designed an amazing bottle filled with a Preserved Prayer for Israel (see photos attached), and Marian Kramer and David Solomon also painted some amazing bottles for us.
These bottles will be taken to Israel, where they will be distributed in places by our mission participants including the Mevasseret Zion Absorption Centre and Nurit Apsorption Centre.
As part of the Yachdav Young Adult International Mission, to be held in Israel in June, the UIAs two representatives, Rebecca Havas and Mark Spiro, will be presenting President Peres with a special bottle of messages from the UIA.
